2014 Kansas Football Spring Game

Kansas head coach Charlie Weis and the 2014 Jayhawks conclude spring practice with the annual Spring Game presented by Cadillac at Memorial Stadium April 12. Plenty of activities for all ages surround the game, which will begin at 1 p.m. and feature the first glimpse of next year's Jayhawk squad. Make your plans now by registering for the events below and plan to have a Crimson and Blue Saturday with Kansas Athletics.

Parking information

All lots are open for the Spring Game and will be first come, first served. The parking garage on Mississippi, adjacent to the Kansas Union, will be available for use, but patrons will be charged at its normal rate. Parking in the garages is $1.75 for the first hour or any portion of an hour, and $1.50 per hour for all subsequent hours.

Accessible Game Parking

Handicap accessible spaces are available in two parking lots adjacent to the stadium, in lots 59 (14 spaces), and 94 (26 spaces). For the Spring Game these spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.

10:00 AM Train Like A Jayhawk FREE CLINIC. Lace up your sneakers and Train Like a Jayhawk with players from the Kansas football team on the practice fields outside Memorial Stadium. Children grades 1-6 can practice like their favorite Jayhawks, moving station to station to participate in similar drills run by current Kansas student-athletes. Participating children will receive a Train Like a Jayhawk t-shirt. Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the west entrance to the practice fields. Registration Closed
11:00 AM HyVee Hawk Zone Opens Pregame activities for the kids continue south of the Anderson Family Football Complex as the HyVee Hawk Zone, an interactive family area that includes inflatable games, photo opportunities, poster-making, stickers, face tattoos and more! The HyVee Hawk Zone will be open from 11 a.m. until kickoff and is sure to be a hit with kids prior to the game. Free Admission
11:30 AM Egg HuntJoin Kansas Athletics for an Egg Hunt on Campanile Hill prior to the Spring Game. Ages 5 and under will begin at 11:30 a.m. and ages 6-10 will begin at Noon. Check in will be in the center of Campanile Hill and will begin at 10:30 a.m. Eggs will include a variety of prizes: candy, toys, gift cards, Kansas Athletics tickets, autographed items, concession vouchers, season tickets, VIP prizes and more! Noon Memorial Stadium OpensHead into Memorial Stadium and find your seat prior to kickoff of the Spring Game. Mini footballs will be distributed to fans as they enter the gates. Giveaways are while supplies last. Free Admission
1:00 PM Spring Game presented by Cadillac KickoffSimulated game action begins on the field at Memorial Stadium with the annual Spring Game scrimmage, your first glance at the 2014 Kansas Jayhawks. Free Admission
3:00 PM Kansas Baseballl vs TCUYour Crimson and Blue Saturday doesn’t have to end with football. Move the family or tailgate to Hoglund Ballpark where Kansas plays host to TCU in the second game of a pivotal Big 12 Conference series. Russell Stover Chocolate Bars will be given to fans entering the gate while supplies last. BUY TICKETS >
6:30 PM Baseball Movie NightBring your blanket and join us on the field post game (approximately 6:30 p.m.) for Movie Night at the ballpark, featuring baseball classic Rookie of the Year. Must have game ticket from the KU vs. TCU baseball game on Saturday, April 12 in order to attend.
